About This Calendar

This calendar serves practitioners of practical Kabbalah and Western Hermetic Qabalah — the system used in Golden Dawn, Thelemic, and related ceremonial magic traditions. It uses the Tree of Life as a planetary timing framework alongside the Hebrew calendar.

Each Sephirah's planetary attribution determines the optimal timing for workings on that sphere: Chesed/Jupiter work on Thursdays during Jupiter hours, Geburah/Mars work on Tuesdays during Mars hours, and so on. The planetary hours calculator provides real-time hour data for your location.

Hebrew calendar dates are approximate Gregorian equivalents for 5786–5787. For the full ceremonial magic framework including essential dignities and ritual timing, see the Ceremonial Magic calendar.
